About KLICF 2017

KLICF 2017 is the continuance of KLICF 2015 and 2016 which were successfully held at Craft Complex Kuala Lumpur located in Jalan Conlay. This year, we’re more than proud to announce that KLICF is back and now with more excitement awaits you! The same motto, “Crafts Unite People” has been maintained for a sole reason which is to achieve unity through craft. KLICF 2017 consists of three components which is cultural performance, craft demonstration and craft exhibition which comprises international, domestic and also online entrepreneurs or also known as, bloggers.

Craft products are unique. Each products varies from the way it was created to the way it is used. Some consumers are concerned on the finished products while on the other hand, the art enthusiasts insist to know on how it was created. To fulfil both consumers’ point of view, we bring the selected-best-craft-demonstrators from around the world to perform live demonstration in front of the spectators. This gives the consumers more understanding on how it was made and the uniqueness of craft products and increase the attraction towards it.

Craft exhibition is the main focus of the event whereby it will be participated by all the participating countries. Exhibitors will sell their products which represents their culture and country’s identity. This is a good platform to the exhibitors from all over the world to promote their country and their products to the eye of Malaysians and also to the foreigners in Malaysia.

Bloggers. To appreciate more of local brands, we have decided to invite the online entrepreneurs/bloggers to involve in promotion, sales and exhibition. This will be their platform to step into larger market with higher demands, for a bigger profit which will contribute to increment in Malaysia’s economy.

Goals

• To attract foreigners and trade buyers to spend on craft products and contribute towards the excellence of crafters development and Malaysian economy.
• To create a great platform for the art practitioners to introduce and to expose their products to the world market.
• To unite the art practitioners from around the world at one place for one main reason, unity through art.
