   I dislocated my ankle about a month ago and have been in awful pain since. I bought this to use when I was to give my ankle support while I was sleeping (so I didn’t have to wear that boot), working on PT exercised at home, and to help reduce swelling and pain (hate taking pain medications. The one thing I will say is that this thing definitely does help with compression, especially if you are on the larger side. I ordered the XXL which was one size larger than I needed because I still have swelling and the compression was still a little to much.
   As for the support, right now it does not give me the support I need. I can see it being helpful once someone has completely recovered from an injury; but, I would not depend on it while still injured. However, this does help me with gaining back my range of motion which helps me with my healing process. It also helps with me being able to use ice packs and heat in a more efficient manner.
   Overall, I give it about 3.5 stars because of how tight the compression is and lack of full support; but, I have never had to use any type of compression/support sleeve so that may be unfair.

   For some weeks I’ve had the most agonising pain from plantar fasciitis, that only a fellow suffering would know. I’ve even resorted to crawling on rising being unable to put my foot to the floor! I have bought many aids in an attempt to be able to weight bear, including insoles, socks, splints, exercise manuals etc and this was one of the socks I purchased. Unlike the other socks, I’ve found this one to be much more forgiving for the foot, very firm yet very comfortable and stretching easily for my for my Size 8, extra wide foot. The extra strap provided provides incredible support for the foot. I could not believe it when I stood up in this, I could actually walk without the severe pain!! I am able to move around and carry on as normal although the foot is uncomfortable, the pain has gone! I have only been wearing this wonderful sock for 4 days and I would say that with the sock and band on, the pain is reduced by around 95% and another part of the miracle, without it, ie in the night and when I get up, the pain is reduced by around 70% so I’m hoping that wearing this support, it is not only enabling me to walk pain free but is allowing the foot to heal. I’ve just purchased a second one as I am definitely not going to be without it now that I’ve found it!! Very, very highly recommended for Plantar Fasciitis…

   I looked hard at reviews before purchasing and this one seemed to fit the bill for my complaint. The comfort and support was instant when using it. I wore it through the day for about three weeks and I believe that swelling below my ankle that had been there for quite a long time diminished and the weakness and pain I felt down from the ankle bone to the side of my foot disappeared altogether. I would recommend the item but check closely that it is recommended for your complaint.

   I have been struggling with PF for some months which, as other sufferers will agree, is painful and debilitating. Acupuncture has helped enormously, however I felt I needed something else in-between sessions. I ordered this item after reading reviews and within 24 hours of first using, I’m so glad I did! The sock is easy to put on and wear, it isn’t too tight, doesn’t rub or curl. I’m quite sure I wont have any issues with washing / drying. The elastic strapping is also easy to put on. You can easily adjust it to where you think most support is required. I put mine on as soon as it arrived and the relief was pretty much instant. I’m going to wear it whilst at work today (standing on hard floors which isn’t helpful..) and am confident that I won’t feel half as much pain as I have been, at the end of my day. Very quick/next day delivery, appropriately packaged with details on how to provide feedback or seek further help/refund. I’m thinking of buying a 2nd one for full support.

   I’ve sprained my ankle and needed some compression so ordered this sleeve/strap. One of the reasons I chose this one was that it was described as machine washable. Seeing as I can barely put any weight on one foot, standing by a sink to hand wash isn’t ideal. As support, it’s doing its job but I’ve had to give it 3 stars only because of the disappointment about the washing instructions on the actual packet which says hand wash only. Have included a picture of the online washing description along with the packet description.

    I was looking for some stability after a bad ankle roll, and something that would fit in my hiking boot for a big trip. THIS WAS THE ANSWER. Even without the extra Velcro straps, the sock itself provides great compression to help with swelling and support. Add the straps, and it’s 10x what an ace bandage is. I will wear this baby till there’s no life left, the buy another. High quality product. Been wearing it pretty consistently for several months, as I rolled my other ankle after, and it still looks good as new. PLUS it fits in my boots/shoes etc. Would purchase again.

    I received the sock a couple of days ago, I wore it that night for a few hours and by the time I took it off I was amazed at the support and comfort it had given my foot ( I have Plantar F.) I have been in terrible pain for a month, I was limping it felt like I was walking on bone. After a day and a half of wearing I’m no longer limping and the pain is much better. Don’t get me wrong it’s still sore but much much better. The reason I bought was because of the reviews on here. Would definitely recommend giving it a try. Good support for the ankle too.
